Episode #7: Mission: Search for a Legend

Makuta inhaled, and let out a deep breath. His aura instantly dispersed. He began to walk forward. The BT Robos arms came down. Even from the robos systems translating the happenings to him, he could feel a lack of true killing intent from the Namekian.

The gap was closed, and Makuta stood up to the BT Robo, both but two or three feet away from another. They stared the other down.

"If your going to play it that way fine..." Makuta said aloud, and he started to slowly raise his arms from his side. "I'll tear every limb off of your toy, and then make you talk..."

As quickly as it had disappeared, the feeling of danger surged through the Changeling. Both fighters jumped back, raised there legs for a kick. The two legs collided, the ground beneath them cracking.

The NESF members smile at last returned, as he finally overpowered the Changelings robotic leg with his own. Chilled was sent spiraling away, and Makutas limb struck the ground. The impact quickly formed a trench, with many trees falling from the impact as well.

The BT robo charged at the two, Drew rushing in to meet the attacker's advance. After a quick exchange of punches, the robot immediately grabbed Drew by the collar of his gi, lifting him up. Streak zipped around, kicking the BT Robo in the face. However, while the BT Robo did let Drew go (by throwing him towards a wall), Streak found himself punched in the stomach (and somehow surgically attached to the fist).

"Played college football, you know..." said the BT Robo in its controller's voice. "Had a high..." He tossed Streak into the air, who inexplicably coiled into a ball due to the throw. "field goal record!"

The ball that Streak was made into was immediately undone by a rather painful kick. The hedgehog flew between two metal poles, crashing into the wall. He rolled over to the edge of a protected scaffold, managing to not fall off due to the rail.

"It's good..." commented the robo.

"If you aren't busy making football references," Drew said, shooting a few ki blasts to the BT Robo, "We're in the middle of a fight here!"

Zach rushed in towards the BT Robo the pressure point striker controlled, intent on making sure not to fall for another attack this time around. The Saiyan quickly landed a strong kick to the side of the robot's head.

"Stronger than last time, huh?" Zach asked, flipping backwards. "Alright..."

Zach tossed a few energy blasts towards the BT Robo, which were deflected by the mechanical terror. He managed to blindside the BT Robo with a lightning elbow, inflicting some damage. The BT Robo paused briefly before recovering with a shockwave attack, extending its palm at Zach. Zach was hit by the air pressure and knocked backward.

Nadie decided to do something finally, somehow her first thought was a head on attack.

Didn't go to well...I'll tell you that much.

The Robo sent a small air blast that only stunned Nadie for half a second before it began to unleash a combo that Nadie could barley recognize she needed to dodge. The Robo finally sent Nadie back. Being careful to use little force,causing her to hit a tree, but not completely breaking it.

Nadie recollected herself, and began to charge an energy attack.

If the machine didn't do anything, it'd suffer a literal meltdown. It had been a few seconds, the BT Robo hadn't been seen. Zukai finally had the gull to look over the edge, a wry laugh as the first thing he saw was the robot held in place via sword in the side.

The next thing he saw was a close up of red hot boiling lava less then a few inches beneath him. His hair singed at the heat, although not physically touching.

Zukai, however, had caught himself yet again. He quickly took a step back on 'land' and began to breath for a second.

"Gotta admit, I had you there didn't I!?" It laughed.

"Let's see how YOU like the heat!" Zukai's hair began to rustle at a gust of air; in which he was generating.

Makuta charged forward wildly, throwing a bombardment of punches. Chilled brought his arms up, blocking each strike with a metallic thud that resonated through the trees. The bird like robot finally struck the Namekian away with both arms.

Makuta struck a tree, but it seemed to bend as if catching him.

"Your pretty durable... more then that other one for sure." he noted, stepping down from the sort of seat in the tree.

"My model in particular...far to sturdy for such weak attacks..." the Changeling mocked through the robo. Makuta grinned, "Oh? Maybe so...but remember..."

The Namekian clenched his right hand, cracking his fingers. He then brought his left hand to his right shoulder, pressing into it tightly. His right fist came up, as his grin intensified.

"With each strike, my fist will crumble your defenses little by little..."

Drew punched at the BT Robo, but the robot's arm coiled around his. The BT Robo attempted to punch Drew in the head, but Drew managed to move his head out of the way of the attack and began punching the robot repeatedly in the gut, managing to do only slightly more damage to his hand than he inflicted to the robot. Drew soon found himself kicked in the chest, sliding along the warm ground.

The BT Robo tried to take a step forward, when Streak began to shower the robot with a stream of lightning attacks. This didn't do much better than Drew's repeated strikes, but it definitely got the BT Robo's attention. Streak rushed the BT Robo, lightning on his fist. He punched the robo in the head, to no real effect.

"Too soft..."

The BT Robo then grabbed Streak by the quills and lifted him up, preparing to try and throw him into the magma. However...

"ADASDSFSDFSFSFS!!!"

The BT Robo found itself electrocuted, and it dropped the hedgehog, kicking him away again while it checked the afflicted arm.

Zach ran towards the BT Robo again, keeping in mind his teammate's attack was charging. The Saiyan continued on forward, taking flight at ground level to land a punch to the enemy's chest. Zach tried for another, but found his fist caught. The BT Robo tried to punch, but Zach caught the other fist. The BT Robo jerked up at Zach's arm, and aimed for a pressure point strike.

Zach tried not to blink as he dodged the precision strike that might have rendered his arm useless. The BT Robo tried several more, with Zach eventually being struck in a pressure point on his right shoulder.

"Dammit! Not again!" His afflicted arm began to lose feeling, with Zach quickly throwing a small amount of purple blasts, trying to put distance between himself and the BT Robo.

Nadie throw her arms forward, multiple ki blasts launching out towards the BT Robo.

The wind began to swirl around Zukai, slowly carrying a packet of lava with it.

Without a second to waste, the BT Robo charged forward, ready to attack.

Big mistake.

Zukai thrust his sword to the side, sending the wind forward along with the lava, eventually creating a lava tornado. He increased it's speed more and more.

A yawn emitted from the BT Robo, as it moved in a relieving fashion, "I'm sorry, did you say something?" and in that instant the Changeling controlled BT Robo charged the Namekian, "Rah!" The Robotic arm fired forth, meeting with Makuta's elbow.

Makuta extended his arm grabbing onto the machine pulling it forth. He did something that would normally be stupid, but obviously Makuta was far from the average bear. He threw his head forward, smashing into the mechanical body.

The BT Robo tanked a lot of Ki blasts, the smoke cloud thick and black as the explosions took off...

Drew and Streak took a moment to recover as the BT Robo did the same. Drew looked to his ally who he was disgusted to have wound up with. Even pre-training Corey would have been preferable...however, even so, his neurons were firing, computing a strategy...

Meanwhile, Corey had managed to get into the mountains, leaping off a few rock faces. The boy eventually skidded to a halt.

"Jeez...where is he! Intel said he'd be around here..." He panted, looking around. "It's not like he's got his hands on some tech..."

"Hey kid," An unfamiliar voice, somewhat recognizable, called out to him. "You lost? You looking for something?"

Corey turned around, and said the first thing that came to mind.

"Drew?!"

The boy swiped his arm over his eyes, and re-thought it. No, that wasn't Drew. The guy didn't look consistently mad, for one. Also, he was wearing a totally different ountfit, blues, light blues, greens...some part that looked like a skirt...He looked almost like some kind of sage. Also, on his back was a weapon--it looked like a red pole of sorts.

"No...you're not...You look just like him, though..."

Corey didn't know it, but he was looking at the man the NESF had been sent here to find...
