Episode #1: Meet the N.E.S.F.

It has been over 1,000 years since Son Goku disappeared with Shenron. Many things have changed since then. The Earth has undergone a massive technological change in reverse. As such, it is now closer to our Earth, even sharing history from the year 1300 onward with it. In the year 2001, an act known only as No Child Left Behind was signed into law. In the real world, this act was mostly benign.

However, evil people had used the education systems to gain power, starting first with the children, then the nation, then the world. It wasn't long before armed forces were sent in to stop the mess...but it was soon apparent that they would not be enough.

It was time for a new generation of martial artists to rise...

The Neo Earth's Special Forces!

A girl with RIT Armor over a blue jumpsuit stood behind a rock, overlooking a building. She had jet black hair that was within width of her neck. A light blue band arced through her hair, while her bangs were parted over her right eye. Over her left ear, and eye sat a scouter; Nadie.

The scouter started to beep.

"Alright Command Team, we're in position." Nadie announced

"Alright then, all times are in position, is everyone ready?"

Nadie paused for a moment, then turned towards her team member...

The teammate Nadie looked back at was of a completely different from the girl. He sat atop a small boulder, his legs and arms both crossed. He wore a scarf around his neck, as well as a dark grey vest with golden edgings. Only his left arm bore a sleeve to it, oddly. His white pants had tears in it, and his brown shoes twitched as she looked back at him.

Perhaps the biggest difference between the two should have been addressed earlier...but he was not human nor anything close. His skin was green, with pink patches noticeable on his arms and shoulders. His ears were pointed, and antennae came out from above his forehead.

A breeze went by, and his vest moved with it to reveal a purple scar on his bare chest. He opened his eyes, revealing there dark grey color.

"Yeah, I heard him...all ready..." he spoke, sharp teeth revealed when he opened his mouth.

His name...Makuta. Makuta the Namekian...

Nearby, overlooking a different part of the building, an orange creature was overlooking the building. A young boy was running up to him, arms behind his back. He wore a teal fighting outfit, with a green wristband on his right arm and a white collar around his neck. His sash was green. He wore black shoes, and his long brown hair was tied into a ponytail. Around his head was a blue bandanna worn like a headband. One brown eye was exposed, while the other was covered in a blue Scouter.

The orange creature looked up, revealing he had upright spines. It was an anthropomorphic hedgehog with white gloves and green shoes. One of his yellow eyes was covered with a yellow scouter, fitted specifically for his head. When he saw the boy, he blinked.

"Took you long enough, Corey..." He was only slightly annoyed.

"Sorry, Streak," The boy empathically apologized, "Zach, Drew--"

"It's 'Command Unit' over the Scouter, Corey..." said a teen wearing a black gi, no shoes, and a green sash. He had an angular, Goku hairstyle, black in color, and a green scouter on one side of his face.

"Drew, he's still new to this, like you are..." said another teen, wearing a black jacket, red T-shirt underneath, and dark blue pants with black and red shoes. "You've reached your teammate then?" His scouter was red.

"Affirmative, Young Lightning is ready." said Streak, taking over the conversation.

"Alright then..." Zach said.

"Whole lot of 72s around here," observed Drew, "Probably just some Saibamen. We can definitely take care of this..."

"Alright...Commence the operation, all units." Zach said.

Drew and Zach began to run down towards the building the other two teams were aiming for.

"Destroy that droid facility!" Drew barked, leading the charge with a blue Ki blast.

"Time to go!" Corey said, running forth, Streak soon taking the lead.

"Let's go." Makuta rose from the rock.

"Right!" Nadie nodded as she dashed off towards the building.

From where she was, she could see a mass of Saibamen. She landed near them, ready to engage. She pushed off the ground, closing in towards the group of hostiles with a, "HA!"

Several Saibamen branched off from the group and began hopping towards Nadie. The rest prepared to follow suit, before noticing a shadow in the center of them. The shadow grew larger and moved over the head of one of the light green creatures. The Saibamen looked up and immediately began to panic.

SLAM!!!

Makuta came down on said Saibamen, using his bare fist to slam its head into the ground with great force. Such a great force in fact, that the Saibamens head exploded against the rocky terrain. Said terrain immediately began to collapse under the impact.

"EEEEEPPP!!!" the Saibamen began to fall down into the trench the Namekian had created. They looked down, and instantly became even more frightened by there opponents sharp grin staring back at them.

Drew and Zach rushed forward, into a crowd of screeching Saibamen. Zach kicked one of the assailants in the chin and sent it flying into the air. He swung a hard elbow straight into the chest of the next green monster, blowing out its chest.

Drew formed Ki balls in both of his hands, throwing them almost point-blank into two other Saibamen. They too died horribly that day.

Streak's body began to glow yellow, and he began to zip around, crashing into any Saibaman he could reach. Corey tried to keep up with his partner's speed.

"Wait up!" Corey round-housed a Saibaman in the midsection, sending it dazed into the ground. "Streak!"

Streak didn't answer, seemingly letting himself attack the Saibamen as the groups began to converge on the building.

Corey pushed a Saibaman away as it tried to claw at him, and quickly used a generic blast on it. Streak suddenly raised his hand at him, and shot a yellow blast of electric energy at him. Corey ducked down out of instinct, and Streak's blast fried a Saibaman that was about to attack him.

"Corey, you need to keep your eye on everything..." Streak said bluntly, returning his attention to the attacks.

Corey would have apologized, but there wasn't time to. He kicked away another Saibaman, and followed Streak's lead...

Nadie backhanded one of the creatures, causing it to stagger. However, Nadie had let her attention stray for a second to long, finally noticing at the last second the attacks of numerous Saibamen reaching for her.

"!!" Nadie could only avoid the attacks, but her enemies didn't let up, and continued with a flurry of attacks. Almost as if dancing, Nadie continued to dodge the attacks, "Can't....Find an opening" she thought.

Makuta, who was battling his own set of Saibamen focused on them. Not looking away when he spoke, "...Focus!"

Nadie, hearing his voice, began to quicken her pace. She sharpened her attention waiting for any sort of moment.

One of the Saibamen had a half second delay that she noticed. She quickly shifted her weight in the direction of that target, vaulting over it. She fired a small but concentrated ki bolt, pink in color. It fired off to the side of the group, but began to curve as it traveled, hitting numerous targets.

As an enemy lunged for him, Makuta threw his hand out. His arm immediately stretched out, and struck the Saibamen in its small midsection. Its eyes immdiatly bulged out of its skull, as Makuta pushed it back until it hit a boulder.

As a Saibamen attempted to sneak up behind him, Makuta retracted the previous one out of the rubble and turned to slam the two together. He then finished them off with a black ki sphere.

The Saibamen on his end all gone, he stopped for a moment. His eyes looked around, and suddenly he picked up a noise. Two Saibamen suddenly burst from the ground, and latched on to the Namekian.

Drew and Zach continued to cut through the crowd. As they continued to wade through the ranks, they eventually reached a reinforced wall, and leapt into the air, remaining suspended there through the use of flight.

"I've got the wall, Zach!" Drew yelled, cupping his hands at his side. "Do something about the leftovers on our end, would you?!"

"On it..." Zach said, taking the Galick Gun pose and beginning to charge up an attack.

"We're almost to the wall!" said Streak.

"I'll get it!" Corey raised both hands as he ran at the wall, charging two orbs of green Ki, one in each hand. He tossed them at the wall. He shot one toward the ground to help him jump up, and chucked the other one at an arc towards the wall.

OOC: Picturing Makuta not using an energy blast on the outer wall of the facility.

Nadie swiped her arm across the air, sending a pink ki wave which cut through the last two saibamen an her side. She looked towards Makuta.

"Makuta!" She shouted making her way to him.

"Stay back!" Makuta commanded.

She stopped in place, as her scouter began to beep.

Makuta smirked for a moment after shouting at Nadie.

"Don't you dare think I can't finish off some guys like these..." he stated. A ring of dust began to circle around him, and it then shot outward.

Suddenly, a black and scarlet aura burst forth from the Namekian as he yelled. The Saibamen panicked for a moment, before being sent flying. Makuta then outstretched both hands, and annihilated the two with two blast blasts.

He turned his head toward Nadie, giving off a gruesome grin as his aura slowed down to a gentle flow.

"See...." he mocked.

Drew began to charge up a small blue energy ball.

"Ka...me..." The ball flickered and swell in the gap between his hands, and his aura flared up blue. "Ha...me..."

Zach's aura flickered, and it seemed to be forming a more definite sphere shape. Between his hands, a comparatively smaller ball of energy formed. All the while, Saibamen were looking up, confused.

"Galick Gun!" Zach fired the beam down at the ground, scraping it along the ground, wiping out any Saibaman in its wake.

"Ha!!!" Drew yelled, firing his beam at the wall. The beam made contact, and after some pushing, it exploded...

Corey's blast exploded on contact with the wall. However, when the smoke cleared, there was only a small ding in the wall.

"Only that much?!" Corey yelled in surprise, failing to notice a rather steamy-looking Saibaman sneaking up behind him. The Saibaman also seemed to have a yellow glow faintly surrounding it.

The Saibaman leapt at Corey, and Corey froze when he saw it rushing at him.

"For crying out loud..." Streak intercepted the jump, grabbing the Saibaman's arms, his yellow glow fading. However, it soon reappeared, and a moment later, Streak and the glowing Saibaman were next to the wall. "Be on your guard!!"

Streak chucked the Saibaman at Corey's pre-made wall, and the Saibaman's glow intensified. When it made impact with the wall, the Saibaman exploded, leaving only its twitching claw behind. However, when the smoke cleared, a large hole in the wall had opened up.

"Command Unit, Team Young Lightning is preparing to go inside!"

"Right behind you...what about you, Team Sprout?" Drew said, looking at his handiwork, with trenches from Zach's Galick Gun webbed out behind him. Zach landed on the ground as well and the two began to go inside.

Nadie looked at the wall, then back to Makuta.

Makuta walking up to the wall moving his right arm in a circle as if to ease a pain. He extended his arm out, placing the palm of his hand against it. He smiled like he did before. His arm began to expand, becoming more Muscular, veins noticeably popping out.

"We...are..." Nadie started but was more focused on what Makuta was doing.

"You're what?" Drew's voice trailed off.

Makuta took a step back, and brought his arm back.

"A three fold should do it..." he remarked. He rocked his arm up and down three times now, and it bulged for a final time.

"Three Fold..." he began, just before he brought his fist forward for his punch, "Kugi Punch!!!"

The Namekians knuckles slammed into the wall, and a massive crater formed in it. "One..." the crater suddenly caved in even further, "Two..."

"Three..."

The deep crater suddenly exploded, as Makutas odd attack pierced the wall. Dust and debris began to fall. Makuta brought his arm back, rubbing it slightly.

"We're in as well," said Nadie over the communications.

"Got it!" Drew called out. "We need to make sure there isn't anything important in here before we trash the place completely, so wait for our signal before doing anything else..."

"Alright...fight off these things until further notice. SEe if we can find anything important." Streak parroted. "Sounds about right. Let's go, Corey!"

Corey followed his partner's lead.

Both teams continued to attack whatever was in their way.

Makuta and Nadie made their way inside the building.

Nadie made sure to look around for anything. She placed her arm over her chest and clenched her fist as if she was holding the end of a necklace.

A red light broke through the air, heading towards Makuta. With a quick move of his head however, he dodged it.

"There are hostiles in this wing as well, Roger Roger!" A thin tan colored droid with yellow markings replied on some kind of communication device.

More like it (Without yellow marks) were also there. They began to rapidly fire red blasts at Makuta and Nadie.

Nadie immediately jumped out of the way of the laser fire. Makuta on the other hand...

"Oh please...you can do better than that..." Makuta taunted, walking through the laser fire towards the droids. His face was darkened as he showed off his sharp teeth.

"What's up with this guy!"

"These guns are useless."

"Roger Roger..."

Corey and Streak continued onward until they ran into a set of droids similar to the ones that Sprout had just encountered.

"Alright...these things shouldn't even be able to hurt us..." Streak observed.

"But...on the news..."

"Don't worry. These droids may be able to take out the average soldier, but we're a bit above that..." Streak demonstrated such by raising his head and shooting a stream of lightning bolts into the crowd, demolishing a good deal of them.

Corey soon mimicked this gesture and both of them were zipping through the crowds of droids, blasting away.

Drew and Zach had similar luck, only they were running through the crowd, having a grand old time shooting them away.

"Roger rog--" This droid was decapitated by Drew's bare hand.

"How many do you have so far, Zach?"

"Not a contest..."

"Well, what if it were?"

"I lost count after about 80..."

Makuta began wrecking the droids. One after another, while Nadie stood there. She watched as the massacre continued, only moving to avoid parts that were sent her way.

"I..." Nadie began to smile.

It didn't seem long until the droids became scarce.

Makuta finished off another number of droids with a duel blast from both hands, before relaxing his stance.

"Seems like we're destroying them faster then this place can make them..." Makuta noted. "I can hear the others are causing a ruckus to..."

"I can also hear where they're putting them together..."

Corey and Streak continued on.

"Any sign of anything, Streak?" Corey asked, right before snapping off a droid's blaster and using it on its own comrades.

"Check your scouter..."

Corey did so with his free hand.

"Nothing...Maybe a few Saibamen...72..."

"Don't let your guard down..."

"Status report?" Zach asked, piping into his scouter.

"Nothing else but you guys are showing up on my scouter...that and a few excess Saibamen..." Corey responded. "We're doing alright."

"Sprouts, what about you?"

Nadie looked towards Makuta, who looked back to her nodding.

She pressed the button on the scouter, "Things are fine on our end. Makuta says he can hear where the droids are being put together,"

"Alright, make your way there, but don't do anything until we figure out anything."

Nadie nodded, "Got it." She moved her hand from the scouter and looked towards Makuta.

"Uhmm," She started, "Sorry I just stood there and watched...."

"No need to apologize. It wasn't a big deal."

"Right...Sorry!"

"...Stop saying that..."

"Oh...Sorr---Uhmm. Nevermind..."

"So where exactly is it?" Nadie asked. Makuta immediately pointed downwards. Nadie blinked as she began to think, and Makuta simply smirked.

At the factorys bottom floor, it was exceedingly dark. The area only lit up by the lights and sparks of machines. Droid parts were sliding down a conveyer belt and being put and melded together by arm-Esq contraptions and the like. Dozens to low-hundreds of droids were also present in the room and counting. Some were moving through a large door to go to battle while others guarded the heart of the factory.

Crash

A large sound echoed through the large room as a figure dropped out of a hole in the ceiling as quickly as it was made.

As some dust cleared Makuta started to stand up, Nadie over his shoulder.

Corey and Streak continued to make their way through the crowds. Streak's ear twitched as he thought he heard something, but he brushed it off. As they continued to run their way through the hall, the two came across a horde of silvery droids that seemed more...muscular.

Missiles suddenly streamed at the two from the wrists of them. Streak concentrated, his body giving off a static glow. The energy pulsed outward, stopping the missiles before they could even get to the two, and even reflecting them away into the walls. Corey and Streak defended themselves from the fire, Corey shooting blindly to where he remembered the droids were.

Drew and Zach also continued to find a way.

"We'd better hurry up and find anything salvageable..." Drew said.

"Like what?"

"Something to make the armed forces able to fight on equal grounds..." Drew threw a few blasts behind them to blast pursuing enemies away.

Zach turned forward, and his eyes opened. "Well, if that's all..."

He grabbed a battle droid by its blasting arm and snapped the arm off like it were a twig. "Just steal one of these. See if the scientists on our side can do anything with it."

"..." Drew checked his scouter. "Power levels of 72...Corey and the hedgehog...Makuta and Nadie...below...Doesn't seem like there's anyone here we need to save."

"Alright, Sprouts, let it rip!"
