Crisis of Multiple Earths

"You mean why we didn't run or freeze?" Zach asked, to which the Great Prince slowly nodded. "Well..."

This is a fine pickle... Zach said, telepathically.

Well, we can't very well tell him we were sucked into a dimensional distortion and went into animal forms... Sonic responded.

Man, how can we explain this one? Drew said.

We just have to be honest...without referencing anything we did while in our host dimension...

Meanwhile, Maleficent was checking around the spectrum of reality, trying to get a fix on where the five strange interlopers came from...

"Well, you see....the truth is..." Zuki began

Maleficent came to a single open portal. "What..?" She gasped looking into it, in the whole, she was four figures. three being human like, and one being almost like a human animal. The Human Animal held her head and fell on it's knees.

"What is this strange universe...I must learn more..." Maleficent took a look at the history, nearly two years back, and saw a human-looking boy with brown spiky hair and a very familiar headband with a very angry look on his face. He faced down three girls. To his left was a blue humanoid animal, a hedgehog, obviously dead, a hole through his chest. Nearby were two adults with black spiky hair, also critically injured. The angry boy began to yell, and gain a shining gold light... "What is that? I've never seen that keyblade wielder do anything close to this..."

"We..." Zuki began to explain. Zach, Drew, and Sonic collectively held their breath as the Great Prince waited passively.

"are from a parallel universe..." Zuki started

The boy was transforming, his hair spiked up, and his hair turned blond.

"What are these beings?" Maleficent continued to watch as the boy went on to effortlessly dominate his opponents, single-handedly. He shot several beams of pure energy out of his hands as his opponents did the same. Eventually, he escaped the nuclear-force blast. "Wait..."

Zach, Drew, and Sonic continued to hold his breath, while the Great Prince, for perhaps the first time in his life, showed a very brief sign of shock, but it was quickly replaced by his natural stoic expression.

"...where facing our fears is all we can do...We've saved our world countless times..."

"Forgive me, but I'm having an even harder time believing this than the other story about Man coloring your hair that color."

"As true as that is, it's the very truth sire..." Zuki finished..

"If what you're saying is true...then...I'm going to need something...for lack of a better term, outrageously outlandish..."

"You saw a fawn with a blade in its mouth..." Zach began. "Very well...Zuki..."

Zuki then began to quietly gather Ki in that small location, and sparks flew off of his deer body.

"Very strange..." the Great Prince commented. "Yes...it appears that you are telling the truth...And I assume this goes for Corey as well?"

"Yes...it does..." Zuki said, suppressing his limited Ki control again...

"the reason you saw him do what he did, was because he was trying to do what i just did. But because our our transformation, we haven't been able to do what we could...." Zuki replied.

"Transformation...?" The Great Prince asked.

"Sir, we're not animals. Well, Sonic is, but he walks on two legs..."

"You mean to tell me you're...?"

"'Man', but on your side. Believe me when I say this, but if we were like that other fawn, who's not on your side, Corey wouldn't have done what he did when your son was backed into a corner." Zuki said.

"I'm a hedgehog where I come from, second fastest to Zuki. And I walk on two legs."

"Zach, Zuki and myself belong to a race of warriors called the 'Saiyans'. Basically, we have superpowers. Corey tried to utilize these against Ronno, but he could not. Even now we're having trouble in these new bodies..."

The Great Prince, for the first time in his life, was completely overwhelmed by the sudden flood of information. He took a few breaths to calm himself down. Now things were starting to make sense...

"This will be between only the six of us...well, seven, counting that mysterious fawn, but I will not inform the forest. I truly think that it's for the best. You may continue to go around the forest as normal, as though this conversation never happened. Again, it's better if they don't know...My son can't find out that the fawn he seems to look up to the most is in fact a two-legged...'warrior', from another dimension..." The Great Prince spoke quietly, for he feared that someone would hear.

"Right" the four animorphs nodded.

"That's all that can be done for now...go on back to wherever you have been sleeping..." the Great Prince said. The Saiyans and hedgehog nodded once more, and both parties went their seperate ways.

"So these strange interlopers are 'Saiyans', and that golden-haired form is a 'Super Saiyan'?" Maleficent asked herself, still in shock about the power she had just witnessed. She decided to inform Riku herself of what she had discovered...

"They'd better fight like they mean it..." Tailsko said, still feeling the evil energy.

The heroes arrived and passed out, really tired, having tried to fight in transformed bodies.

In the real world, the movie went through a time skip.

While the time skip was happening in real-time on the transformed heroes' end, Zuki wondered who the Great Prince was talking about.

"'The fawn he looks up to...'?" He asked himself, the only one awake. "Could it be...?"

"Riku, are you there?"

"Yes master, what is it?"

"I've discovered where the interlopers have come from...They aren't animals at all, just like you--well, there is a humanoid animal that got transformed into his real-life animal, but they are all very strong..."

"That would explain..." Riku started..."my failure..."

"I guess i shouldn't fret." Zuki said finally going to sleep

The screen lit with light as the morning was underway.

Corey was the first one awake, having fallen asleep for a little while longer than his team. Corey simply stared up at the sky, still lying down.

"I wonder if we'll be able to put the things that we've broken back together before the crap* really hits the fan," Corey said, his words still censored by an unknown force.

The Great Prince was up, looking at Bambi. He was hopping for the best. He didn't want to, but he thought he had too. He contacted the same owl that was made a fool of at the Groundhog Festival.

Corey! Tailsko's telepathy broke the dimensional wall again.

Tailsko, could you tell me what I missed? Corey asked, nonchalantly. Of course, when Tailsko fully filled him in on what had happened while he was passed out, he would instantly give a shit.

Friend Owl had been perched in his tree when the Great Prince called on him.

"Owl," he began. "I've found out what was up with the five strange newcomers. You must continue the search now..."

"Ehh? As you wish. I'll start right now..." The owl said flying off.

Corey quickly got up. He was about to wake up the others, but saw their tired looks. "I'll go alone..." Corey said walking off in the direction of Bambi's Den

"So there's a sixth stranger here that turned Drew into some heartless beast until Zuki managed to cure him, and the Great Prince is doing what he deems is best for his son...On top of that, he knows what all six of the newcomers really are..." Corey whispered to himself, as he quickly made his way back to the young prince's den. "We don't have much time if I'm to fix what I've broken before something terrible happens..."

The screen had shifted to the lone Corey only as he said the second part of his statement above. The title change was becoming more and more clear now...

Corey was half way there, looking at the scenery.

"Jeez, it seems so peaceful here..." Corey said. "If it wasn't for the dire circumstances, I'd just take some time out and gaze at the beauty of nature..." He continued on his way, blindly devoted to his mission.

Finally, Corey arrived at Bambi's Den, where the Great Prince was just heading out.

Zuki got up "ugh. Wow, my body hurts." Zuki said. "Maybe since these bodies aren't worked, they stiff up after a work out..."

Zach and Drew also felt that way, as did Sonic.

"Hey, where's Corey?" asked Sonic.

"Probably off doing what he feels is right..." Zuki said. "Hey, the Great Prince said something about him last night."

"What was it?" Drew asked.

"It was about his son, specifically..."

"Do you mean the part where he said 'the fawn he seems to look up to'?"

"You don't mean..." Sonic cut in.

Corey and the Great Prince met eyes for a few seconds, when the latter noticed the former. Surprisingly, the bigger deer simply walked away without saying a word.

So he knows what I really am...Tailsko is right... Corey thought. Could this be the reason why he's got that search back on?

"HEY COREY!!!!" Bambi shouted, trotting off in Corey's Direction.

"Yes..." Zuki replied nodding.

"I hope you're ready to pick up where we left off..." Corey began.

"But why?" Drew asked. "Surely his father would be a better role model than 'Powder Keg'* Corey..."

"Corey only lost control of his anger twice, and that was when Ronno was involved." Zuki pointed out.

"Y-yes, of course!"

Corey was far too oblivious to know it-in other words, he was the only one who didn't know, his universe or this universe.
