Episode #3: The Lavender-Haired Assassin

It seemed like Streak was going to stay down this time, and Zukai was about to finish him off. However, before he could complete his attack, a bare foot struck Zukai in the side of the head, negating his Ki blast. However, he managed to dodge Zach's attack by flipping backwards until he was safely away from Zach and Drew.

"Who are you?" Drew questioned. "What are you here for?"

"It's obvious he's not a greeter..." Zach responded, floating down next to him. "He was trying to kill Streak just now..."

"...And he also left his sword in Makuta's gut..." Drew stated, as though Streak didn't matter.

Elsewhere, Corey was running, trying to follow his cousins to the site of battle.

"Let me be able to help..."

"Zach and Drew?" Zukai jumped back, "Where's the third; Corey?"

"He knows our names?" Zach asked taking a stance.

Zukai send his arms back, hands glowing a bright purple color, "I need to end this quickly."

He threw his arms forwards aiming at Zach or Drew, generic ki beams

Zach and Drew avoided the beams, jumping into the air. Drew fired a few Ki blasts at Zukai as Zach charged through them, aiming to punch Zukai in the face. Zukai, however, avoided the blasts. Zach carefully manuevered out of Drew's blasts, the blasts hitting the ground where Zukai was.

Zach punched down, but he got his fist stuck in the ground as Zukai dodged again. Zukai then kneed Zach up, before elbowing him in the gut sending him flying backwards.

He quickly dashed towards Zach, pushing him into the ground as he flew forward.

He threw Zach towards Drew, then began to pursue. Turning passed Zach, and appearing behind Drew, smashing him into Zach.

Drew and Zach impacted with each other, becoming dizzied from the impact. Zukai zipped between them, and threw a back kick into Zach, sending him into the ground. Drew, however, read Zukai's next movement, and dodged the uppercut by the hairs protruding from the front of his head.

"Dammit!" Drew groaned, flying up into the air. "Ka...me...ha...me..."

Zach recovered, seeing Drew preparing his attack.

"Drew...what are you doing?!" Zach yelled out. "Are you going to destroy the whole camp?!"

"HA!" Drew yelled, large blue energy beam flying towards Zukai at a quick speed.

Zukai quickly backed up, grabbing Zach and hurling him into the path of the beam.

Zach grunted, shielding himself from the beam, knowing that even if he did recover in time, he wouldn't have been able to dodge. The beam exploded, and a heavily damaged Zach fell to the ground, knocked out from the impact.

"Damn it...you..." Drew grumbled, clearly pissed about the fact his uncontrolled beam was weaponized against an ally.

Zukai charged a Ki blast, and sent it flying up to Drew. Drew avoided the blast, but Zukai got behind him, fist clenched...

"Fall!" Zukai yelled, throwing his fist into Drew's back. And as Drew made his descent, Zukai began to fire a rain of purple ki blasts down towards him.

The first ki blast met Drew as he struck the ground, causing a small explosion, which began to expand as more ki blasts joined it.

The ki blasts stopped, Zukai was charging a ki blast, throwing it down. It was larger then the others had been, and when it impacted the fusion of the other ki blast, it caused a large explosion.

The explosion sound up ahead did not deter Corey once. His friends were in danger, and that alone urged him to work harder than he ever had before. However, he was forced to crouch as the latest explosion was close by.

"I think that's where they stopped," he thought to himself. "Hold on...I'm almost there..."

Drew lay, also unconscious at the bottom of a crater. His black shirt had been torn in half, and his gi was burned up to the knee. Burns littered his body.

Zukai landed down.

"That's four...all that's left is the one called Corey..."

He looked towards Drew, then Zach, then Streak. He took a deep breathe in, then exhaled, "Troublesome."

Zukai took a deep breathe, looking towards the Namekian that lay on the ground. He walked towards him, his eye on his sword, "I'll have to admit, I had no intention in killing any of you." He then looked down to Makuta as he walked. He thought the Namekian was down for good, no life within him as he continued to walk. Finally reaching for his sword.

"Yaaaawwww." Nadie yawned, picking up her beeping scouter, "What?"

Zukais hand went for the hilt of his blade, but yet again the green hand grasped it.

"Well would you look at that...had me out for a second..." Makuta grunted, as he pulled Zukai down so he could get up. Makuta got on his two feet as Zukai got closer, headbutting him a few meters away.

He stood up, legs shaking. Grasping the hilt of the sword with both hands, and yanked it out in one pull. He winced, exhaling sharply. He tossed it down, and looked around to his hurt friends. He gritted his teeth.

"He...he really got us..."

Makuta's ears twitched in response to a noise. He turned his head slightly, seeing Corey running in. Corey skidded to a halt. His young mind couldn't even process what he was looking at. Craters, some blood, and a battle.

"I...I...Was I...too late...?" Corey asked numbly, blinking. He saw Streak, lying motionless in a crater. Drew, the same deal. Zach, lying facedown. All beaten up and covered in burn marks. Makuta himself seemed groggy and barely able to stand, a gaping wound in his stomach.

"No..."

Something stirred within Corey, and his body began to emit a green glow. His aura flared. In response, Nadie's scouter began to respond to the sudden spike...

Dust and small debris from the battle began to rotate around the young Saiyan. Makutas eyes grew wide, turning towards the boy.

The seven year olds rapid breathing echoed in his ears as Makuta trembled from the damage and shock. "Where did this come from...Corey..."

"Six powers, 4 lowered down a bunch. 115, and 110 are the other two!" Nadie began to stand still looking at the numbers.

"What the?!" Zukai's eyes widened, "So this is Corey?"

"You!" Corey shouted

"Is he powering up?"

"I will make you pay...!!!" Corey shouted, his entire body shaking, crackling with green Ki energy as his green aura exploded outward. The Saiyan took one step forward, the step causing a small crater, before launching himself at Zukai. The young boy landed a hard right that sent the slightly caught off-guard Zukai spiraling. Corey leapt onto a nearby tree, springboarding towards Zukai, aura and glow...

Zukai attempted to dodge the attack, but was still a bit caught off guard.

Where have I seen--- Zukai's thoughts cut off by a numerous volley of attacks from the young Corey.

Stepping to the side, Zukai avoided an attack. Following up with a punch towards Corey.

Corey's eyes moved to track the fist, and he raised one arm to block the attack. Makuta blinked, watching the child's fight.

"Normally...he's hysterically bad at this..." he mused aloud. "But when he gets pissed, he somehow knows how to fight perfectly!?"

Corey threw a kick, which Zukai blocked with an arm and leg on top of each other. Corey and Zukai clashed fists and kicks, and then both punched each other across the face simultaneously.

Zukai stepped back in response to Corey's punch. Corey, shook off the pain and followed up his attack by numerously punching Zukai in the gut, then sending him flying into the air.

"D..Dammit!" Zukai recovered to Corey smashing him into the ground, having found the strength to jump that high.

Zukai flipped, but caught the ground, causing dirt to fly as he dragged along it's surface.

"This..." Zukai looked up to Corey who was landing, about to get in his next dash, his body faded into an enraged younger Zukai, then back to Corey, "....!?"

Zukai's moment of hesitation left another opening for the enraged Corey to use. He landed an elbow to the Saiyan's face, followed by a few kicks. However, Zukai caught the boy by the ankle before he could do anymore, and managed to throw him back again.

Corey skidded along the ground, but his rage was not utterly spent yet, heading right back for Zukai once more...

Nadie began to make her way to the site of the two high power levels, being sure to quicken her pace.

Zukai made his way to attack Corey as he reached him, but another flash, one to his father, then mother, causing him to be caught off guard once again.

"Can I..." He muttered to himself before taking Corey's attack.

Corey hadn't even noticed his opponent's seemingly fading resolve, knocking his opponent into the air and firing a few Ki blasts up at Zukai. The blasts were easily deflected by Zukai, but Corey continued to try and bury his opponent under a barrage of ki blasts.

Zukai deflected Ki Blasts, shaking his head, "No, I can't look back on that now!" He somewhat grabbed one and threw it at the others, causing an explosion that causing the other blasts to get within it to explode as well.

"I'm done here!" Throwing his hands to his sides, his hands fingers bending. A large purpleish blue glow formed around them.

"?!" Her scouter began to beep again, "One of the powers went down to 85, the other is rising to 129!?" She began to quicken her pace, but she had already feared that she'd be too late.

"What?!" Makuta began looking up to the foe within the sky.

"HA!!!!" Zukai yelled throwing his hands down towards the young boy, who hadn't known the ki blasts he was firing were doing nothing. Zukai's hands came together, index fingers out as if he was holding a gun.

A large beam fired from the tips of the fingers and spiraled through the explosion, causing it to disperse.

"?!" Corey's eyes widened

"Corey! Move!!" Makuta yelled out. "DODGE!!!!"

All the advice in the world from the Namekian couldn't move the stunned Corey from his spot. The blast hit-dead on, causing yet another explosion. The young Saiyan was now at the base of a crater, heavily injured and smoking. Somehow, he wasn't completely killed outright from the blast. However...

"His energy...it's..." Makuta started, clenching his fist. "Damn..."

Makutas aura returned to him, as his anger flared.

"It took alot of Ki but...my wounds are healed..." he stated in his mind, looking up at the descending Zukai.

"I'm still here you bastard..." the Namekian reminded. His aura grew larger, energies rising.

"Hmm?" Zukai looked towards the namekian, panting, "Dammit."

He looked back down towards the crater. Another flash in his head, "B...Brandon?" He shook the thought.

"No no stop it! Focus!" He turned his body towards the namekian, "C..Can't stop now."
