Crisis of Multiple Earths

"Well, i wonder if we'll get back home.." Zuki wondered, he looked at everyone. "They look so peaceful..." Zuki looked at Corey. The deer morphed hero was sweating, his closed eyes squinting.......

"What have you done...?" Corey asked the figure, unsure whether it was that mysterious silver fawn or Ronno. Either way, Corey would find out.

"Why, Stumbles, it's only me reclaiming my rightful place in the forest...now...it's your turn..." Without warning, a purple energy blast filled Corey's vision...

"NO!!!" Corey yelled, breaking out of his horrific nightmare... "Ugh..."

"C..Corey..?" Zuki ran to Corey. "What happened..?"

"...Just...a nightmare...I don't know how, but in the dream, Ronno had...he had...killed...his rival." Corey said. "Then he turned to me and proceeded to kill me."

"Was it a premonition?" asked Zuki...

Before Corey could answer, however, Tailsko contacted the two of them.

Corey, Zuki, I've found your answer...

Elsewhere, at Bambi's den, Bambi awoke. However, he was surprised to see his father there...

I should probably invite him along. The Great Prince had thought earlier that morning, remembering how Corey and his friends were, at the end of the day, still a magnet for trouble, trouble that not even his son could possibly overcome...

Or could he...?

Tell us...Corey quickly responded, If his dream was a premonition, then he had to make haste.

Maleficent has been going around to other worlds, not just this one, collecting "Princess" figures from each world... Tailsko began. As it just so happens, Faline is a "Princess" as well. It seems as if each world is a story, and the Main protagonist's love interest is the Princess of that story. Tailsko continued explaining everything on her mind.

So that silver fawn's here to collect Faline, but why? Why would they need the most easily kidnapped figures of that world? Corey could not help but remember Mario, the expert at rescuing kidnapped princesses, on that mindtalk.

"F...father, why are you still here?" Bambi asked sleepily.

The Great Prince took a deep breath, and finally spoke up.

"You can come with me, if you like..." he said.

The princesses are "Keys" to open a door, and bring destruction upon all... Tailsko replied. Although they have an enemy, who wields a blade like that silver fawn had. I foresee a battle between them two in the future.

So basically it's none of our business....and were supposed to let Faline get abducted..?!

Of course not...when they find the princesses, it will destroy everything. You can't allow them to win.

Elated, but inwardly bewildered, Bambi accompanied his father on the daily scouting.

Is this enemy of theirs going to arrive here? Or is it fate for us to stop them ourselves this fight?

"So...changed your mind about me coming along?" Bambi asked. He was happy being with his father, although questions filled his mind. But he didn't want to ask to many, risking the moment him and his father could have.

But....I don't have toes...

...................Corey, remind me to smack you across the back of the head next time I see you....

"Yes, I have..." the Great Prince answered. He'd hoped that his son wouldn't ask too many questions, since he didn't want to let his son know the truth behind the fawn he called "brother".

Bambi smiled, and the two went off.

"Heh, Women..." Corey said laughing. "You give them what they want, and they treat you like shit!"

"She told me your not very good at it..." Zuki replied...

"You heard her Zuki... 'stay on our toes'." Corey started sarcastically. "So lets get everyone up even though it's early..."

"Okay then..." Zuki said.

The two were starting to do regular deer things. Bambi and his father started running in the prairie, Bambi started falling behind, then caught site of Ronno, looking as though he wasn't even trying.

Ronno flicked his tail up at Bambi and continued running. He then remembered how Corey also had antlers.

"Father, when am I going to get my antlers?" he had asked his father before starting to run.

"If you're anything like me, real soon..." his father had replied.

"Am I anything like you?" asked the son.

"Let's find out!"

Encouraged by this flashback, Bambi began to run faster, and faster.

All of a sudden, Corey was fed an image that only resulted from the sickest of bastards. To make matters worse, it was...somewhat related to his current position.

"AAGAGAGGGGHH!!!! MY EYYYYYYYYYYEESSSS!!!!" Corey yelled. "Eddy, you psychotic bastard!!!"

The heroes began to train with their Ki attacks. Corey shot lasers out of his eyes until he nearly went blind from doing so. Drew and Zach shot tiny balls of Ki at each other, while Sonic worked on getting his speed back to full.

Zuki was still practicing mouth beams, not wanting to be "Suicidal" As Drew/Zach say.

As the heroes continued their training, Corey let loose a pair of almost perfect eye beams.

By sheer force of will, Bambi finally caught up to his father in the race.

"Yes!" Corey shouted. "Did it!" Corey brought down his head, the beams still in tact

"COREY!!!" Zuki yelled dodging the beams.

Corey immediately stopped the beams.

"Whoops..." said Corey. "Wasn't paying attention."

"Heh, pay more attention" Zuki said "I should be my only danger" Zuki winked.

"Whatever you say..." Corey said. "I have a feeling, that I'm not needed at Bambi's den, though."

Zach and Drew continued their spar. Sonic, meanwhile, took a running-in-place start, and then broke the sound barrier for the first time since he'd been animalized.

Time seemed to pass quickly on this day for both groups. Before they knew it, it was late evening.

"Wow, Night already? We must have been training for a while now..." Zuki mentioned.

"Yeah, but I have no doubt, that this time, we'll be ready for that silver fawn, should he choose to attack..." Drew said.

"And by 'we', you mean 'them', right," Zach asked. "Let's face it, in these bodies, our usefulness factor has been shat on...I mean, we've never seen the other animals fight."

Elsewhere, back at Bambi's den, Bambi was talking practically nonstop.

"And...and the way i beat Ronno today..." Bambi said

"Yes bambi...go to bed..." The Great Prince replied.
"But im not sleepy....." Bambi countered ( )

A premonition suddenly entered Corey.

"I have a feeling we're going to need every bit of sleep we can get. We'd best go to sleep now, to be best prepared for tommorow." Corey said.

However, Corey's foresight was slightly off. What he thought was coming tommorow, instead happened a week later. As the heroes trained on their training site, becoming more and more adept in their Ki control in their restricted bodies, the father and son were somewhere else in the forest, practicing with more princely duties...

"I sense danger!" said Bambi, walking in front of his father, "Hornet's nest, antler high!"

The Great Prince looked up, slightly caught off-guard. If he had been a few inches taller or to his left or right, his antler would have poked the nest and both father and son would be stung by a barrage of pissed-off hornets.

"Very good, but now I sense danger!" said the Great Prince.

"Where?" asked Bambi.

"Rival deer, right in front of me," the father stopped, however, he then changed his tone slightly. "Oh wait, he's not much of a threat..."

Family bonding ensued, as Bambi took "offense" to that, and attempted to "stand up" to his father, but was easily flipped onto his back. His father then, for a few seconds, imitated a human father by blowing raspberries into his son's stomach. However, their family bonding was soon interrupted, by the brown owl that had been earlier contacted by the Great Prince.
