Episode #8: Hill Top Terror

Drew turned to Streak, "Alright, Hedgehog--"

"It's Streak, Drew...Streak!"

"Alright, Smear, I have an idea, but I'm going to need you to..."

Drew then whispered into the hedgehog's ear, his plans for what to do about their predicament.

"Oh, huddles....C'mon then, the play clock's ticking...I'd really hate to have this end on a delay of game penalty..."

Zach and Nadie stared at the smoke.

"Did we get him?" Nadie asked.

"No...it's not over yet..." Zach responded.

As if on cue, the BT Robo flared a smoky white aura up, and dispersed the last of the smoke. It then rushed into Zach, planting a foot into the boy's chest and sending him flying backward.

OOC: Do not know how to start Corey's section...

As soon as it hit, the tornado began to disperse, chunks of lava flying in numerous places, including a fraction of Zukai's clothes.

"W..What?!" He questioned watching as his attack was stopped.

The BT Robo had begun spinning in the opposite direction, causing the winds to shift, causing an explosive wind outburst.

"That look. Impressed?"

Zukai got a grip, "Answer my question, are you Zeno?!" he shouted, his sudden burst of noise seemed to shake the walls.

"How about we play a game?" The robot's finger went up, "If you win, I'll tell you who I am. If you lose..."

"Forget I asked." Zukai's sword stabbed into the ground, "We're done here, I'm going to end this."

Nadie looked towards Zach. The bot took the chance to push it's elbow into Nadie's stomach. Afterwards grabbing her by the hair, jabbing at her face again and again.

Nadie could only think to block the attacks, flinching with each hit. Her brows furrowed, she had to stop it. She had to get free, but how?

Out of complete instinct, her leg blazed in pink energy. The leg flew up, impacting the Robo's head with a force that caused it to flip over in that direction.

I...I can do this... She thought as her fists began to glow in a similar fashion.

The entire forest seemed to quiver from the two non Earth born fighters. Trees continued to fall as they wrestled and slammed each other every which way. After being hit away yet again, Makuta rebounded, ki blazing in his palms as he shot bolts of energy, but the robo skillfully evaded the assault, punching the Namekian in the gut and trying to grapple him. However, Makuta elbowed him straight in the neck.

This did little except cause the Changelings operated robot to release his opponent and elbow him in the side of the head. Makuta, using all of his speed, risked staying in close range and landed a kick to the chest.

"Alright..." Drew said, "Got it?"

"It worked before...but these things are stron--"

"Do not question me, hedgehog, my plans tend to work!" Drew called out. "Alright, here we go!"

Drew rushed the BT Robo, landing a few fast punches to the robot's head. At first, the robot took some hits, but the robo soon talked in a condescending voice.

"False start..." it scolded, kicking him in the chest. The Saiyan grabbed onto the leg this time, however, and used the momentum to kick the BT Robo in the face. All the while, Streak's body began to glow yellow and crackle with static energy.

Zach recovered from the attack, rushing towards the BT Robo, one arm trailing behind him due to its being disabled. The Saiyan went in for a series of kicks, internally wondering about the female's attack all the while.

Nadie charged forward beginning to attack the BT Robo. As she and Zach led their assault, the BT Robo didn't know whether to attack one or the other, or defend and watch their attacks.

Each hit Nadie landed caused an outburst of pink ki.

Zukai and the Machine began to clash. Zukai sent the Robo back more and more with each attack. His opponent trying harder and harder to strike back in a similar manor, but to no avail.

Zukai extended his arm out, a single punch. A single punch that seemed to go in slow motion as it made contact. A piece of the Robo's jaw cracking, denting, and snapping out of place.

Zukai, the speed demon of this fight, threw his leg up, kicking the opposite side of the BT Robo's face, indenting the area heavily.

Makuta stood, bruised and bleeding on various parts of his body. He was breathing roughly, eyes shades by the single tree in the vicinity of the two. Chilled walked forward with his BT Robo, body cratered in at multiple points.

"Your pure physical strength was enough to damage this hunk of metal more then was expected from any of you. Ill give you that much. But your blind attacking with no thought will get you nowhere..."

Makuta grinned, his fingers twitching.

"Normaly, i'd be thinking things through plenty...but right now, having to fight you through this scrap..."

Makuta stood forward, and the single tree next to him began to fall. Makutas wide eyes expressed his emotion aswell as his grin did.

"All I want from you is a wild fight..."

The BT Robo stumbled back from the force of Nadie's attacks, the later hits actually making dents in the droid. As Nadie finally finished her physical onslaught, Zach coated his good arm in electric energy, rushing in and landing a clothesline with it, knocking the BT Robo over and causing a very heavy dent in the machine. The machine laid down motionless, but only for a moment. It got up, obviously still a little messed-up from the attacks, and began to attack the two Saiyans once more...

Streak's body began to glow with more erratic static than before as he extended his hands. Drew, meanwhile, was trying to lead the BT Robo towards him so that Streak could catch it.

"Sit in the pocket a while, boy!" the robo demanded.

"I'm not interested in going by that playbook you call a fighting style!" Drew retorted, drawing closer to Streak...

Nadie, was grabbed by the arm, having been suspended by one of the Robo's pressure point hits . She was smashed into Zach, sending them both into the ground from the impact. She tried to break free from the Robotic grip, her arm flaring, and fingers from the Robo's hand tightening.

Zukai's opponent, although damaged, wasn't done yet. It began to retaliate in a similar yet different manor.

Left, Right. Then a punch to Zukai's stomach. Backhand to the face, sending him back a ways away. He was sent off the platform onto another, one that was far closer to the lava.

The BT Robo grabbed Zukai by the neck and began to hold him over the edge.

With both hands slammed forward, Chilled sent Makuta flying back into a portion of the zone that still had forestry. The Namekian slowly stood, panting. His sleeve was torn in half. He lifted his opposite arm, leaning it against a tree.

His BT Robo opponent soon caught up, still only suffering a few dents from all of Makutas efforts.

"Have you decided to give up yet? This so called "wild fight" has grown tiresome." Chilleds voice rang out. Makutas aura flared outwards.

"Give up?" he repeated the Changelings words. His aura immediately dispersed, all but what was around his right fist which rest on the tree. The tree immediately seemed to compress, its leaves and branches flying off. "You sure don't know me very well..."

The tree compressed once again, and then exploded in bark. What was left was a large ax which the Namekian grabbed a hold up. Grabbed it with both arms, Makuta lunged forward. The robots arm raised in defense.

Makutas arms both bulged as he prepared to strike with all his might.

Chilled was caught off guard.

And half of the BTs Robos arm was sent flying with a single full powered swing.

OOC: Don't know where exactly to go with Zukai & Nadie v Nurse yet

Streak extended his hands just as Drew broke left. The BT Robo saw the attack coming, and tried to move out of the way. However, the BT Robo's right leg was hit by the attack, rendered useless. The robot fell on its face, catching itself by the arms.

"Damn rat!" the BT Robo called out, limping its way to the recovering hedgehog and kicking him away again.

"Cool it, mech!" Drew said, recovering. "He may be a rat, but he's still my teammate!"

The Saiyan didn't even pause to reflect on how little he treated Streak like one, instead opting to blast the injured robo back with a charged energy ball.

The Robo backed away in response, watching as his arm rolled against the floor, "Impressive, I'll give you that," His torso waned to the side as if he was easing pain in his shoulder, "What to do with only one arm?"

The robo's intact arm went behind it's back as it charged forward. When it reached Makuta, it began to send a flurry of kicks towards the Namekian at an alarming speed.

A distinct tssssss noise came from the lava. Zukai's hair began to singe as his head was forced downwards by the BT Robo. He tried to force the machine back, but his positioning wouldn't allow for it. His head bobbing back down towards the lava.

After a second or two, Zukai took a deep breath, his lungs burning from the heat. He pushed with all his strength, his head and the Robo's now an inch away from each other, "Zeno!!!" He shouted, aura flaring. The machine staggered back from the force.

Crash!

It seemed as if the Robo was ignoring the downed Zach, smashing Nadie into the scenary.

Zach got on his feet holding his arm that was still in effect from the pressure point attack, "Ha!" he launched forth, hand cocked back. His hand crackled with electricity once more as he quickened his speed for a second, eventually appearing next to the Robo's arm, striking with his electrified fist.

Makuta raised both arms to defend against the blurring mechanical legs that quickly slammed into him. The robos movements weren't limited by a realistic joints, it was all to unpredictable to counter. After a few seconds, the Namekians arm moved. Hardly an inch, but it was enough. With another kick it was sent upward, leaving him vulnerable. Chilled took his chance and brought his good arm forward from his back, aiming to claw the Namekians head clear off.

The NESF member just barely had the time to move his head. His head was intact, but blood sprayed out as the attack still connected. Makuta stumbled back, the damaged portion of his head turned away from Chilled. The eye that was visible was wide, as Makuta regained his breath.

"Well then, how do you intend to fight now...worn out and half blind..." the Changeling mocked. It seemed to play with the purple hand that covered it's fingers. "I'm willing to admit, as the battle progressed, you seemed to get more and more adequate. Almost impressive...but it's nowhere but downhill for you now..."

"Downhill? Is that what you think?" Makuta mocked, chuckling. Blood dripped down his damaged face, running down his neck. "You really don't get me...or any of us..."

The lavender haired Saiyans aura seemed to spike once again, and his BT Robo opponent was sent flying back. He took his chance, and cept moving towards his nemesis. He grabbed his sword without losing any momentum...

The Nurse turned, jabbing its fingers into Zachs good arm. The Saiyan gasped as he lost control of his remaining arm. The avian like machine didn't let up, throwing a punch at the boy.

"The reason we're all together is because we surpass expectations!" Makuta explained, raising his ax. "We all fight for our own reasons..."

Lunging forward, Makuta swept the ax down from overhead. The BT Robos fist lashed out like a whip and destroyed the blades of the weapon. But the Namekian continued to swing his now staff like construct. Chilled was able to catch it with ease however, leaving Makuta airborne and pushing down as Chilled pushed upward.

Chilleds confidence only wavered when he caught a glimpse of Makuta injury. The one side of his face had been almost completely taken off. A slash for each finger was adorned on his green skin, and his eye and most of his sharp ear was missing. Despite that, his still existing eye was ablaze with passion.

Zukais blade seemed to glow, as the Saiyans ki traveled through it. He reached Zeno, who swiped his arm to bash his opponent away. Zukai ducked his entire body down, and picked up Zenos sword from beside him. The elder assassin brought his arm down, but Zukai swayed to the side and avoided it. Zenos blade began to glow in his hand.

Zeno was prepared to attack, but instantly found him self instinctively stepping back at the sight of Zukais fierce eyes.

The Nurses fist flew forward, but found itself being swept aside by one of Zachs legs. The Nurse didn't expect this, but especially didn't expect what would happen next.

The Saiyans leg continued pushing the robos arm, suddenly changing direction. Zachs opposite leg was now lifted aswell. The Nurse was thrown off balance as Zach slammed her arm into the ground. With his opposite leg in the air, lighting seemed to come forth from above.

The Nurse noted her opponents willpower that was being conveyed through both his actions and eyes.

Still airborn, Makuta used his grip on his former ax to swing down as he cocked his other fist back underhand.

"And for the sake of those fights, we'll get tougher and tougher!"

With the momentum of his movement backing him up, he slammed a Five Fold Kugi Punch into Chilleds chest.

The BT Robo continued to limp after Drew, throwing a few Ki blasts. However, its movement was impeded by its bad leg. Drew returned the favor with more ki blasts that did light damage. Meanwhile, Streak got back to his feet, and began to try and gather his electrical energy.

"Ka...me...ha...me...ha!"

This was from the base of the mountain where Corey had been earlier. The boy's beam ripped forth, drilling into the mountainside, but barely even put a scratch in it.

"No, no, no," said the strange not-Drew Drew, "That ain't how it's done...It's not like shooting a regular Ki blast, it takes a lot more focus to bring out its real power..."

The saiyan grasped both swords tightly.

"I.."

Zukai threw his right arm to the right, followed by the left arm. His momentum caused him to spin in the same direction, leading a double slash. The Robo's stomach area cutting, chunks being slashed off. Zukai continued to spin once more but this time, putting more power into the double slash.

Afterwards, Zukai flipped the swords backwards and stabbed downwards, a purple glow trailing them.

"Will Find you!"

The robo hunched over slightly, but then Zukai throw his arms upwards, flipping the blades in an uppercutting slash that filled the robo's cuts with a purple light.

Zeno began to realized what was happening and began to punch at Zukai, who dodged the attack, stabbing both swords into the robo's chest, taking a bit of effort to slice downwards, nuts and bolts launching out of the robo's wounds.

"Wherever you are!"
He flipped the swords again, executing a cross slash, then quickly flipped them once again for another cross slash, putting the swords to across his shoulders.

What happened next was a flurry of ongoing slashes. One after another, until he finally stabbed the sword in his right hand forward, the robo catching the glowing sword.

A pause...

"And I will kill you no matter what!"

Zukai launched Zeno's sword forward a bright purple glow emitting, impacting the BT Robo and impaling it.

And at that moment, the light exploded outwards, a gust of strong wind forcing the machinery apart.

Zeno took of the visor that he used to control the BT Robo.

"I'll look forward to it," His smirk grew.
--------------------------
The lightning made contact with Zach's leg as he slammed it down on the robo's arm, and a loud noise vibrated the area as the Robo's arm split from it's attached joint and shattered.

Nadie got onto her feet, now free from the nurse's grasp, her a arms flaring with bright pink energy. She extended her arms forth towards the robo, an energy ball growing in each hand until they merged into one.

Zach quickly jumped away from the path as Nadie fired her ki cannon attack.

Chilled was sent flying through the forest, every time he slowed don another impact cept him moving. He finally reached the end of the forest, and slammed into a rock formation. The final shock wave shoved him father into it.

Makuta soon walked out of the forest, calmly walking forward. His head wound was healed, and he was quite calm.

"What do I do to control it, then...?" Nowhere in his mind did Corey think to ask for the stranger's name.

"Well..." The man said, taking the same pose as Corey did. "Basically, what you do is focus the Ki into that point. You have to hold it there and let as much as you can stand into it..."

Zukai breathed out. He looked up, eyes closed, sheathing the katana. After another breath he looked to the sword that the BT Robo was using. It had a crack that slightly ran down the middle.

He walked towards the edge, tossing the sword into the lava.

"No matter what..." he vowed.

The cannon hit the robo, slightly halting before it enveloped the robot, causing an explosion that colored the environment in light, before fading into it's aftermath.

The Namekian continued walking, and made his left hand into a gun. A small point of light glinted at his fingertip. He began to slowly and calmly lift it.

At that moment, Chilled burst out of the rock and wildly rushed forward. He reached the Namekian, but was simply caught in a calmly fired Reigun. The blast shot forward, destroying the large rock formation that Chilled had crashed into.

When the light and dust faded the robo stood at the same spot, arms at it's side.

"Well then...that was unexpected..." he Changeling admitted.

"For you maybe..." Makuta replied. He looked up to the Robo, which didn't move an inch.

"You may have come out on top now...but when next we meet I'll be at full strength..."

"And I'll be tough enough to take whatever you've got..." Makuta walked passed the Changelings device, as it fell forward. "And i'll get what I need to know..."

At that moment, a blur shot out of a crater in the ground created by the Reigun. Following it, an onslaught of magma shot forth. Zukai landed bent over just behind Makuta. He stood and looked at the defeated BT Robo.

"So you took care of yours..." Zukai noted, not turning.

"Of course...what did you expect..." Makuta replied

Drew continued to leap back, eventually leaping over a huge stretch of pitfall. Suddenly, a lightning attack hit the leaping BT Robo mid-leap, dead in the chest. Streak panted from where he was now standing, reverting to base. The BT Robo, now stuck in the position, hit its head on the railing just in front of Drew before falling down into the magma below. The two NESF members went to look into the lava.

"FOOOOUUUULLL--" The BT Robo sputtered, its badly melted head poking out of the lava before sinking back down underneath it where it melted to pure scrap.

"...Alright..." Drew said. "Let's get outta here. We still have a job to do..."

The smoke cleared, with Zach and Nadie's opponent having vanished, seemingly vaporized from Nadie's attack.

"That's over..." Zach said, his arms limp at his sides, still afflicted from the pressure point attack. "Come on, Nadie. This robot was only a distraction..."

Makuta and Zukai were running from the lava that flied out of the hole in the ground.

Zach and Nadie walked out of where ever they were fighting, watching out for any other surprises, or their group.

Makuta and Zukai quickly outran the lava, and continued moving through the destroyed forest.

"So, any idea where the guy we're looking for is?" Zukai asked.

"Yeah, I heard Corey with someone a ways back. And they weren't fighting." Makuta confirmed.

"...a ways back? As in we already passed them?"

"..."

"Don't you think you should have said something so-"

"Shut up!"

Corey stood there, taking a deep breath as he focused his Ki to the palms of his hands.

"Now remember what I taught you about..." said the not-Drew Drew.

"Ka..." Corey began, moving his hands to his sides, "Me..."

"Ha..." The boy stretched his arms out in front of him before he pulled his hands back again, "Me..."

All around the mountain range, those with active scouters had their portable computers* ring to life as Corey's power level spiked.
----------
"HA!!!!"

Corey fired a large blue beam out from his hands, as his aura changed from green to blue. The beam surged forth, making impact with the mountain...

"Look!" Streak pointed out.

"I see that..." Drew said. "That's Corey's Kamehameha...what a reading...!"

"260...Corey's reading is at 260!!" said Zach. "That's the same kind of spike Drew gets when he uses it at all out..."

Zukai's scouter was now displaying the reading, but he kept silent.

260? Glad he didn't hit me with that thing when we fought....

"Really?!" Nadie asked, "That's incredible!"

A large light blue explosion of light was visible in the distance, and Makuta looked overhead towards it.

"That kid actually made it..." Makuta grinned. "Faster then I thought to..."

The light faded, and the mountain was all but gone. Corey exhaled, a drop of sweat sliding down his brow.

"Welcome to the big leagues..."

Corey leaned over, panting as the remnants of his aura dissipated. Meanwhile, the not-Drew Drew began to clap.

"Well done! You caught on quick!" he said, just before he stopped. He turned towards the horizon. A yellow light ball began to rapidly come towards them, followed by a very familiar call...

"Corey!"

Corey looked up, "Drew....?"
