Crisis of Multiple Earths II

"Oh that? Well that's jus' Rainbow Dash." Applejack smiled.

Corey cringed yet AGAIN....
"Dash...?" Sonic asked smirking.

"T...Taste the---" Corey began but was cut off by Applejack. "Rainbow!!!! Git down!" She screamed, her accent still strong.

"Oh yes Rainbow Dash. One of my best friends too! You should meet her...meet he, meet her, meet her!" Pinkie shouted.

Zukai fell back on his ass shouting in fear.

Glancing briefly to Zukai's reaction, something flashed in Corey's mind. A name he had forgotten, and what happened prior to the first CME:

"Hey, Ed, what are you reading?" asked Corey as he sat down next to his trainee and friend. After thirty minutes of reading, fanart browsing, and chills later, he regretted this decision. "Pokemon Lost Silver...huh. Hope I never wind up meeting the unown qualities of death..."

His attention soon returned to the matter at hand. Something else clicked in Corey's head, realizing what was happening. Turning to see the rainbow, Corey grabbed Bambi around the center of his body with one arm, while Sonic jumped out of the way with a grunt, off pure reflex.

"I'm Batman--" he turned again to see the moving rainbow was just about on him, and jumped out of the way, "Whoah!"

Zukai wasn't paying attention til last second. The rainbow just about hit. Without thinking, Zukai used Instant Transmission to quickly evade.

After dust cleared, a blue pony was the center of attention. Her eyes, as big and bright as all the others, were purple. Her mane was similar to Applejack's, but the length of it didn't reach that far, it also was colored similar to that of a rainbow.

Corey, yet again found himself looking at a Pony's ass. Zukai face palmed at the sight.

The blue pony immediately looked at Zukai. "How'd you do that?" she asked.

Is that a thundercloud with a rainbow bolt shooting out of it? Corey thought, setting Bambi down.

"Erm, Corey..." Bambi turned to his friend. "Who's Batman?"

"...Do what?" Zukai asked, trying to play it cool even though he just FUCKING teleported out of reflex. Sonic wasn't paying any attention. While it was true that Zukai was as fast if not faster than him, he never thought he'd meet someone like this "Rainbow Dash". Even if he lost to her as well, he certainly wouldn't mind.

And not for the excuse that Corey needed...

The fight between Lexon and Knuckles intensified, Lexon continuing to use card-based attacks, while Knuckles tried to get in closer.

Knuckles deflected one card, it hit one of the perched Chaos Emeralds. "Ngh!" Knuckles grunted grabbing it.

"Interesting..." Lexon said looking at the other emeralds. "Mind if I borrow them?!" Lexon finished grabbing one off it's perch.

"Why...it's me of course...!" Corey replied.

"Oh yeah....He fell on his head earlier..." Zukai noted

"You just disappeared! And reappeared...!" Rainbow Dash shouted giving Zukai a furrowed stare.

Sonic interpreted, "W---want to---" Sonic began closing his mouth.

"...At this rate...he'll get the other ones..." Knuckles said. Using a little bit of the nearby Emeralds' power, he warped to the Master Emerald, and rested his hand on it. "...The servers are the seven Chaos...Chaos is power...power enriched by the heart...the controller is the one who unifies the Chaos..."

The other six Emeralds began to glow in response, though only four actually lifted from their perches.

"......" Corey was struck silent. He felt as though he were witnessing something come to light. "...race..." he quietly finished.

"Huh?" Bambi asked. "...race...?"

The blue pony - Rainbow Dash - turned to Sonic.

"Huh?" she asked him, forgetting about Zukai. Green eyes met purple in this moment.

"Oh here we go..." Zukai sighed, but actually seemed a bit interested. He looked at both the pony and Sonic. "Whoa whoa whoa...."

No...It can't be. Sonic....X....Pony....OWWW GOD!!! Zukai thought. But then stopped. Realizing that he seemed to be acting like Drew. "He must not know..." Zukai then said.

Dash thought for a moment, then finally spoke. "What makes you think you can beat me?" She said raising her hoof. She showed great pride in her speed.

Sonic thought for a moment.

"...Well, back home, I am the fastest..." Zukai almost interrupted, "runner, and I could probably go about your speed without flight..."

"...Is this going to end well?" Bambi asked, turning to Corey.

"Probably not. I get the feeling I shouldn't tell someone about what I'm seeing here..." the Saiyan responded.

"Oh your on..." Rainbow said before interrupted.

"I want in..." Zukai said crossing his arms.

"And what can you do 'Human'?" Dash laughed as Zukai squinted in slight anger.

Sonic chuckled at Dash's slight joke.

Zukai looked at Sonic, who shrugged. "Meh oh well..." He said, his body slowly rose.

Corey facepalmed for reasons unknown, while Bambi didn't know what exactly to expect, having seen Corey and Zukai fighting in limited bodies.

All the ponies around marveled.

"But he doesn't..." one said
"Have wings!" An other finished.

"But how can you..." Rainbow started to question.
"I'll tell you after the race..." Zukai smirked.

"Zukai, before you get moving...what do you want me to...?" Corey trailed off, unsure of what to say, but the winged pony cut in.

"A friend of mine told me to keep an eye on you. Real bookworm, though." Dash said. "I'd say you go see her about your issue..."

"I see, And where might this, friend of yours, live?" Corey replied.

"I'll take ya ther'." Applejack interpreted.

Zukai and Dash looked each other. Dash had a strong disbelief in Zukai's ability. There's no way those two can mach up to my speed Dash thought.

"So, where should the race start and end?" Sonic asked, a large grin partook his face.

With that, the four that lifted, flashed in light, distorted in shape, and vanished. The two that didn't, flew out across the ocean the island was above.

Lexon hissed, "We will meet again..." He said as he entered his dark portal.

The Great Prince was wandering around, looking for Bambi. "That feeling....it was dark..." He said.

Faline caught sight of Ronno. "Hey Ronno, have you seen Bambi around?" She asked, squinting, watching for Ronno's actions.

Ronno looked puzzled, "Who are you, who's Bambi?" Ronno asked backing away a bit.

"Wha--?" Faline started. "I'm Faline...you know, the girl you almost killed for?"

"...I don't remember that..." Ronno continued.

"Bambi...what happened...?" the Great Prince questioned.

"Hmm..." Dash thought about it for a while.

Applejack began to lead the other two towards the library earlier mentioned, Pinkie Pie hopping along merrily beside them.

Zukai was relieved that the pink pony was gone.

"Ngh! Damnit!" Knuckles said as he grabbed the master emerald.

Zukai and Dash stayed airborne while Sonic got in his famed pre-race stance.

And so, after the race route was laid out by Rainbow (who allowed a "soft run-through" of said route so that they'd know where everything was), the inevitable race began, with the standard "Ready-Set-Go" routine.

Elsewhere, Corey and Bambi were talking.

"I wonder how everyone back home is doing..." Bambi said with moroseness.

Sonic and Rainbow Dash took lead. Heh, knew that 'human' couldn't keep up Rainbow that as she and Sonic continued the route.

"So it seems you want to start at full speed now huh?" Zukai questioned upping his speed.

Sonic and Dash stared at each other. "Your not bad..." Sonic stated, sidestepping a few objects.
The two smiled. "Your not bad yourself!" Dash replied.

Amazing...she is as fast as I am...and she's not an overpowered species...

I heard that...

More walking, more walking, more moving feet.

"It must be pretty handy to have those thumbs huh?" Pinkie asked, still bounding along without a care in the world.

"...Y-yeah...?" Corey responded, being unnerved from the sheer energy this pony was showing in the face of a bipedal humanoid like himself.

Should we go full speed? Zukai asked smirking.

"Ngh..." Sonic grunted. Dammit Zukai...!

"What is it?" Dash asked smirking similar to Zukai. "Running out of energy?" She giggled

"Hmph! Please! Watch my speed now!" Sonic yelled as the sound barrier broke more intensely.

What the?! Dash questioned as she started to concentrate on her own speed. Zukai also passed, almost as quickly as Sonic did.

Bambi looked back to where they had left.

"...You know, I get the feeling..." he started, but cut himself off. "...Nothing really."

More fucking walking, more Pinkie Pie being hyperactive and cheerful. I really don't know what to type for this part.

"...?" Faline asked, seeing two objects suddenly appear in the sky. The Great Prince noticed the two objects too. "...Are those...jewels...?"

Then, the two jewels split off in different directions.

Above the heads of the quadrupeds and bipedal Saiyan, a similar event occured with two more jewels - the Chaos Emeralds Knuckles had.

Rainbow's speed increased as well, a more intense rainbow after image trailed her.

The four travelers stopped. "Well, this is Twilight's home..." Pinkie said, the first non excited outburst.

"Alright, I guess we'd better get going." Corey said, stepping forward and knocking on the door.

"Spike, could you go get that?" said a feminine voice, the same one described earlier.

"Yeah ok!" said a male, younger-sounding voice.

"...What were those things?" asked the female to no one in particular.

Corey overheard Twilight's voice, looking around.

The three were dead even with each other, seemingly, Zukai and Dash in the air, Sonic sidestepping at incoming objects.

This is so cool! Dash thought as her eyes sparkled. But still, to think these guys could be even in speed with me. Come on, come on!

Her body started to slightly distort...

Within moments, the one called "Spike" answered the door. Looking up to see Applejack and Pinkie, he greeted them. He took a look at the deer, didn't think twice, then stopped on Corey.

"..." he said. "...Hey, where are your other friends?"

"...Out racing with the pony you had tracking us..." Corey responded.

"Race...?" Spike questioned.

The air around Dash folded, her mane, and mouth distorted. Finally, as like Sonic, a breaking-the-sound-barrier effect, a rainbow color however, emitted from Dash as her speed increased dramatically, the most intense rainbow afterimage trailing her.

Zukai and Sonic stopped in their tracks as Dash sped off into the distance.

Sonic's draw dropped once again. "THAT...WAS...AWESOME!!!!"

Zukai was as well impressed, but responded with a shout, "Oh to hell with that! AWAKEN!!!!!!!" He yelled as his aura flared with dark blue energy. "NYAAAH!!!!!!!" He grunted as he reduced space between him and Dash.

"Heh! I'm still faster!!!" Dash said before she heard a harmonic wind. She glanced back only to see Zukai gaining.

Sonic shook his head and got in stance. "KAIOKEN!!!!!!" He yelled as he zoomed across the earth below him.
